President Granger attends GDF's Change in Command Parade

Georgetown, Guyana -(January 10, 2017) President David Granger, earlier this evening, attended the Change-in-Command Parade for Brigadier George Lewis, former Chief of Staff of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF), held at the Force's Base Camp Ayanganna, Thomas Lands.

Brigadier Lewis has been replaced by Brigadier Patrick West, who was sworn in, earlier today, by the President as the 10th Chief of Staff of the GDF.

Former Chief of Staff of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF), Brigadier George Lewis receives his final salute at the Change in Command Parade, held earlier this afternoon.
